Hello Stranger

Yesterday, out of curiosity, I checked the stats on this blog. Surprisingly, it still gets a significant amount of traffic, even though it is seriously lacking in new content. I think my brother Jeff has something to do with that. If you found your way here through his website or blog, I am sorry I don't have any fun mathy or computational tidbits to share here.

It has been almost three years since my last post, and needless to say I have moved on to other things. I have lost an organ and some extra pounds, forgiven my knee, tried to hone my green thumb, gained a love of riding my bike while toting my camera, and started a new blog, Picture Pedaler.
Come over and check it out.

This blog will remain here as an archive of my last couple years in New York, a still current love of art and photography and a small glimpse into my deep, and not so deep, ponderings. Mainly, I come around to look at the photos. I am not the most proficient photographer, but recording my thoughts with the camera is a huge part of who I am. I also continue to collect images of strangers. They are piled in boxes, bags and notebooks. Maybe I am collecting lost souls, or maybe I just see the humanity contained within a single snapshot. In this digital world, I worry about words and images disappearing. But I continue to be completely present.
